Alexis Strong

PhD student

Alexis Strong is a PhD student at Cornell University studying the intersection of hospitality and healthcare. Ms. Strong earned her BA in Healthcare Policy from Duke University in 2005 and her Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University in 2008.

She spent eight years in the industry managing hotel operations with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, consulting with PwC's Health Industries Advisory practice, and building a patient-centered service offering with Docent Health.

In 2017, Ms. Strong returned to Cornell University to bring her industry perspective to health consumer experience research as part of The Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures.
