Dr Natasha Montesalvo is the Director of Research and Policy at the EarthCheck Research Institute and Principal Consultant – Destinations, Strategy and Insights with EarthCheck, the world leading scientific benchmarking and advisory company for travel and tourism.

She has over 15 years tourism policy, management and planning experience in the tourism sector through consultancy and advocacy projects. Natasha completed her PhD at Griffith University, Brisbane. Her thesis focused on the relational ties between destination management organisations and tourism and hospitality organisations, and the impact they have on destination brand buy-in.
